The maintenance method of the foam fire truck after fire fighting

Time:2019-12-06 Views:1509
Foam fire trucks must be carefully maintained after the fire extinguishing operation, because it uses a different medium than the water tank fire truck used to extinguish the fire. The foam used in it has a certain corrosiveness, so in terms of maintenance and repair, it must be performed in accordance with the requirements of the national standard GB7956-1998 or the industry standard GA39.5-92. After the foam fire truck extinguishes the fire, we need to do a good job of maintenance according to the environment in which it is used and the condition of the components used.
The following is the maintenance method of the foam fire truck after fire fighting:
1. The chassis and engine of the foam fire truck should be maintained in accordance with the maintenance manual.
2. In order to ensure the reliable operation of the fire pump, after each use of foam or salt water, it is very important to flush the fire pump, diversion pump and foam proportion mixer:
a. Connect the water hose to the outlets on both sides of the fire pump, connect the foam outer suction pipe into the purified water, run the pump to draw in water, use low pressure operation, and open the foam operation valve;
b. Open the water outlet of the pump, adjust the speed, and increase the maximum pump pressure to 0.5MPa;
C. Before completing the flushing, adjust the speed of the water pump to make the outlet pressure lower than 0.2 MPa, and turn on the water inlet switch of the pump until clean water flows out of the exhaust pipe.
3. It is very important to regularly perform maintenance on various parts of the fire truck. The main ones are:
A. Ensure that the fire truck has sufficient fuel, lubricating oil, cooling water, gas source, power source and regular implementation;
B. It is often checked whether the circuits, oil circuits and fire-fighting components are normal, and whether various types of instruments, signal lights, switches, and lighting lamps are incomplete; water tanks and foam tanks are filled with water and foam liquid in accordance with specifications;
C. Periodically test the engine, power take-off, and transmission parts, and conduct a vacuum test once a day to ensure that the functions of the pump parts meet the specifications; various valves and moving parts should always be smooth and regularly tested for sensitivity;
D. Check whether the oil level at the pilot pump, pump gearbox, and power take-off is in a calibrated position, and whether the oil quality meets the specifications. If the oil deteriorates, it should be replaced immediately;
E. After the vehicle is in use, it should be scrubbed and cleaned, and the surface should be dried with clean and soft cotton yarn or towel, and then put on the car wax to ensure the gloss of the vehicle surface. Keep the pump room and equipment box clean and uniformly place the equipment. The fire truck garage must be clean and boring, and the temperature in the garage in the cold season is not less than 10 degrees Celsius.
