The design and installation of underground LPG storage tanks

Time:2019-07-27 Views:2166
The design and installation of buried /underground LPG storage tanks must meet the four requirements:
1. The site selection must be in accordance with the “Code for Design of Town Gases”. After the selected area is circled by the wall, the safety distance from nearby buildings such as railways, schools, cinemas or electric facilities such as poles and high-voltage power stations must be reached. The requirements of the regulations. Many people spend a lot of energy on site selection. It is a bit difficult to find a space that meets the requirements. Finally, the construction bureau or the fire department must be accepted and qualified before proceeding to the next step.
2. The liquefied gas station includes several major areas: liquefied gas storage tank area, fire fighting pool, filling room, filling room, lightning protection and anti-static equipment, etc. The rational layout of these equipments must not only consider the safety spacing, but more importantly The user‘s daily use is convenient, and the loading and unloading operation of the liquefied gas transportation semi-trailer is smooth in the future. Some designs are lacking, and the liquefied gas tank car cannot be turned around in the station, which causes unnecessary trouble to the filling operation to a certain extent.
3. The foundation of the liquefied gas buried tank should be well laid, and many users think that it is very stable to be buried in the ground, but it is not. The underground tank equipment is placed on the basis of reinforced concrete. The storage tank should also be protected against corrosion and static electricity. The acid and alkali salts in the soil are corrosive to the tank. The manufacturer also pays more attention to the spray paint, first spray the primer, then spray the top coat, then the anti-rust paint, layer protection.
4. The gas phase and liquid phase pipelines in the liquefied gas station are welded by seamless steel tubes. After completion, they must be subjected to non-destructive testing and air tightness testing to ensure smooth operation. Gas installations with poor installation quality are prone to safety hazards in actual work.
