Structure and working characteristics of liquid level gauge for buried LPG tank

Time:2021-11-01 Views:360
Buried liquefied gas tanks are liquefied gas storage tanks buried underground. The main reason is that due to the limited space, the distance between the storage tank and the building can be halved, the land area can be effectively used, and the overall appearance after installation is coordinated. During installation, attention must be paid to the anti-corrosion of the storage tank body. Cathodic anti-corrosion must be performed. The yellow sand backfilled must be fine and uniform, and the sewage must be discharged.
The buried liquefied gas tank is composed of a tank body, a saddle and a head. There are many safety accessories on the tank, such as safety valves, pressure gauges, thermometers, level gauges, drain ports, vent valves, etc. The level gauge is used to display the volume level of the liquid in the tank, which is convenient for volume observation and adjustment , Above-ground storage tanks generally need to add a float-type level gauge, and the buried tank uses a magnetic flap level gauge. Let’s understand the structure principle and working characteristics of the lower magnetic flap level gauge.
The magnetic flap level gauge adopts top-mounted or side-mounted bypass tube when measuring liquid. The main body of the magnetic turning column is equipped with a turning column liquid level indicator, a liquid level switch and a liquid level transmitter. The magnetic unit is placed inside the float ball or connected to the float ball through the ejector rod. When the float ball and the magnetic unit change with the liquid level, the magnetic color block (magnetic flap) is turned over; the magnetic liquid level switch operates at the corresponding liquid level point; At the same time, the liquid level sensor outputs a standard variable resistance signal under the action of the magnetic force of the floating ball, and then the resistance signal is converted into a 4-20mA current signal output by a transmitter.
The main body of the magnetic flap level gauge is a connecting pipe body, which is connected to the user container through a flange. There is a magnetic float in the connecting pipe body, which rises and falls with the rise and fall of the liquid level. An indicator composed of a turning column is fixed on the outside of the tube. The turning column is composed of red and white. It is white before the liquid pulls up. When the liquid level rises, the magnetic float will follow the rise, and the magnetic coupling drives the turning column to rotate 180 degrees. It turns red into red to indicate the liquid level, and the red and white boundaries are the height of the liquid level in the container.
A drain valve can be installed under the magnetic flap level gauge, and the drain valve can be opened when needed to remove dirt. The upper part is provided with a drain bolt, which can be loosened to remove air when necessary.

The upper and lower limit alarms can be installed on the side of the magnetic flap level gauge according to the user‘s needs. There are two types of alarms:
1.XG type alarm: the alarm is equipped with a dynamic closing (normally open) reed switch , When the float in the main tube rises (drops) to the alarm set point with the liquid level, the magnetic steel in the float will close the reed switch and send out a contact signal, and when the float leaves the alarm point with the rise (drop) of the liquid level, The signal at this point is automatically cancelled.

2. XJ type alarm: the alarm is equipped with an alarm switch driven by magnetic coupling. When the float crosses the upper and lower limit alarm points, the alarm switch is driven to send out a signal to realize liquid level alarm or control. The alarm switch has a normally open contact and a normally closed contact. It also has the memory function that the liquid level does not recover and the alarm signal is not eliminated, which plays a very important role in the safe operation of the production process.
An electric remote transmitter can be installed on the other side of the tube body of the magnetic flap level gauge according to the user‘s needs to convert the liquid level height into a standard current signal output for the liquid level signal output and the liquid level signal remote Pass it to the secondary instrument for indication control and detection.
