Maintenance of LPG tank semi-trailer

Time:2021-10-13 Views:358
Liquefied gas semi-trailer, also known as liquefied gas transport semi-trailer, liquefied petroleum gas transport semi-trailer, LPG transport vehicle, etc., is used to transport propane, propylene, dimethyl ether, liquid ammonia, methylamine, acetaldehyde and other liquefied gas special transportation Semi-trailer. The liquefied gas transported by the LPG semi-trailer is a flammable and explosive gas. The LPG semi-trailer vehicle should be maintained regularly! Then, what are the maintenance of the LPG semi-trailer vehicle?
The structure of the LPG transport semi-trailer is that the chassis is converted into a LPG tank car chassis, the engine is selected in turn, the BF6Ml013EC tank body length and the sub-frame are welded into one body, and then the sub-frame is fastened to the car frame with bolts , The upper part of the tank is equipped with manholes, safety valves, and escalator platforms. There are anti-wave boards and level gauges in the back of the tank. The valve box is equipped with pressure gauges, thermometers, liquid phase pipes (or gas phase pipes) and control valves. , The outlet of the liquid phase pipe and the gas phase pipe should be installed with an overcurrent valve, an emergency shut-off valve, and a grounding chain to conduct static electricity to prevent fire. The rear end of the frame is equipped with a rear bumper to protect the tank from collision in the event of a collision. The car should have more than two dry powder fire extinguishers.
The liquefied gas transported by the LPG semi-trailer is a flammable and explosive gas. The LPG semi-trailer vehicle should be maintained regularly! Then, what are the maintenance of the LPG semi-trailer vehicle? Let‘s take a look at the manufacturers of liquefied gas semi-trailers.

  1. Check all components every six months for damage and wear.
Check the airbag and its lower piston frequently, especially after driving on asphalt roads in summer or muddy roads after rain. Keep the airbag piston clean and check the surface of the airbag for damage (surface cracks, wear, wrinkles, surface Foreign matter, etc.), if damaged, replace the airbag.
  2. The air piping system is recommended to be carried out every 6 months to keep the air filter clean and intact. If it is damaged, it should be replaced. Check the air-tightness of the valve body and pipeline connections and whether they are tightly installed and whether they are damaged. Check whether the connecting parts and fasteners of the valve body are damaged and whether they are locked.
  3. Check the shock absorber once a quarter to check the tightening condition of the upper and lower parts of the shock absorber. Locking torque: M24 M=420Nm (390-460Nm) Alloy support frame locking torque: M24 M=320Nm ( 300-350Nm). Check the tightness of the shock absorber, and replace it if there is oil leakage.
4. Check the leaf spring installation kit every 6 months to check the tightening condition of the U-bolt lock nut. If it is loose, lock the nut diagonally alternately. Note: No welding is allowed on the leaf spring!
  5. Airbag fasteners are recommended to be carried out every 6 months. Check the tightness of the airbag locking bolts and nuts.
  6. Leaf spring hinge bolts are carried out every 6 months. Bushing inspection: slightly brake to move the semi-trailer back and forth or use a lever to pry the spring beam close to one end of the leaf spring hinge bolt. At this time, the spring beam should not be loose. If the fastener is loose, the leaf spring bolt or bushing may have been damaged. Check the wear on both inner sides of the support frame. Check the condition of the fasteners of the M30 lock nuts on the leaf spring hinge bolts. Tightening torque: M30 M=900Nm (840-990Nm)
  7. The axle lifting device is recommended to be inspected every six months. Check the tightness of the M16 locking bolts on the lift arm or diaphragm air chamber. Use a torque wrench to tighten when necessary. Check the wear condition of the anti-collision block on the lifting arm or the lifting anti-collision block on both sides. Ensure its safety.
  8. It is recommended to check the limit wire rope and its accessories every six months, and replace it if necessary.
  9. Check the working condition of the drain valve at the bottom of the gas storage tank every six months. If it is frosty, check it every two weeks, and replace it if it is blocked.
  10. The FH value is checked every quarter. Since the FH value has been set by the semi-trailer factory before the semi-trailer leaves the factory, the user must periodically check the FH value specified by the semi-trailer to make it consistent with the semi-trailer when it leaves the factory.
11. For the connection between the frame and the support frame, please refer to "BPW Air Suspension Axle Installation Instructions".
  12. Safety strategy under special circumstances: air suspension vehicles encounter sudden failures during driving, such as leakage of air pipe and air circuit parts or valve bodies that cannot work normally. In the case of not being repaired in time on site, check the airbags first. , If the airbag works under pressure, try to make the rubber part of the airbag smooth and free of force. Drive the vehicle away from the fault location at a speed of less than 30km/h and wait for maintenance. In this case, the maximum allowable driving distance should not exceed 30km.
