Liquid ammonia tank truck filling operation process

Time:2021-10-08 Views:324
Liquid ammonia tanker is a kind of pressure vessel. It adopts lightweight design, Manufactured special transport vehicles. The liquid ammonia tanker must be operated in accordance with standard operating procedures during filling. Let‘s take a look at what are the standard operating procedures for liquid ammonia tanker filling?

Before the filling operation, after the tank truck driver and the filling operator wear safety masks and protective aprons, follow the following operating procedures:

 1. After driving the tanker to the marked position, turn off the engine and pull the hand brake, pull on the device to prevent driving away, remove the key and place it in the fixed stainless steel box (the technician supervises the driver to perform it).

2. Place a wooden pad wheel gear on the rear wheel, connect the grounding wire, and place a warning sign "Filling" at the entrance of the filling station (the driver assists the technician to execute it together).

3. According to the items in the inspection card (FW-094602) before the filling operation of the automobile liquid ammonia tanker (the steam valve, the liquid valve, the pressure gauge, the exterior of the body, the safety guardrail are normal, the key, the handle brake, and the placement of the wheel gears) , Whether the grounding wire is clamped in accordance with the regulations) check and sign one by one (the technician supervises the driver to execute).

4. Connect the ammonia arm and the inlet flange of the tank truck, and tighten the bolts (the driver assists the technician to perform it together).

5. Connect the nitrogen hose to the L-85 valve and test the leak with nitrogen. After confirming that there is no leakage, discharge the nitrogen and close the L-85 valve. If it leaks, replace the gaskets, bolts, etc. and try the leak again (performed by the technician).

 6. According to the items in the highway liquid ammonia filling operation inspection table (FW-094605) (the tank car key hook is properly fixed, the hand brake and the wheel block are properly placed, the filling tube arm is checked, the tube arm is properly connected to the tank truck flange, The discharge and return valve are closed properly, the grounding wire and the nitrogen leak test are completed) check and sign one by one (executed by the technician).

7. Open the inlet valve and emergency shutoff valve of the tank truck (the technician supervises the driver to execute).

8. Open the outlet valve L-35 of the ammonia arm (executed by the technician).

9. According to the specified total weight of the tanker, add 10% (10%) to the weight of the empty tanker, and then the expected filling weight will be obtained. Check the comparison table to find the filling capacity and set it, but the filling volume shall not exceed the maximum allowable volume of the filling body. Filling capacity (executed by technician).

10. After setting, press "START"; after the XV valve is opened, slowly open the L-34 valve, adjust the filling rate, and check the valve and flange for leakage (performed by the technician). If there is leakage, stop the filling. Stop the leak, continue to fill or recover liquid ammonia according to the situation, and return the vehicle (the driver assists the technician to perform it together).

11. After filling, first close the L-34 valve, and then open the L-99 valve to make the residual ammonia in the pipe arm flow back into the ammonia production system or T-101, close the L-35 valve, and open the L-85 valve to enter the tank truck The residual ammonia gas between the pipeline and the outlet valve of the ammonia arm is discharged to the combustion system pipeline through a high-pressure hose (executed by the technician).

12. After the filling is completed, recover the residual ammonia in the pipe arm. When the discharge of residual ammonia is completed, close the inlet valve of the tanker and the emergency shut-off valve (the technician supervises the driver to execute it).

13. Detach the ammonia arm, place it in a fixed position, and blindly seal the tank truck inlet flange, and cover the tank truck receiver box cover (the driver assists the technician to perform it together).

14. Remove the warning signs, grounding wires and wooden pad wheels (the driver assists the technician to execute together).

15. Take out the key and drive away the tanker, ready to weigh (the technician supervises the driver to execute). 16. Check whether the ammonia arm, grounding wire, wooden pad wheel gear, high-pressure hose, etc. are in place, and prepare for the next vehicle filling (executed by the technician).
