Application introduction of various valves of LPG storage tank

Time:2022-09-06 Views:96
1. Stop valve: it is a commonly used block valve, which is used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline. Generally, it is not used to regulate the flow. The applicable pressure and temperature range of the stop valve is large, and it is generally used for small and medium diameter pipelines.

2. Butterfly valve: a valve that uses a circular disc rotating with the valve stem as the opening and closing part to realize the opening and closing action. Note the wafer butterfly valve or flange butterfly valve is commonly used in low-pressure large and medium diameter pipelines to be used as a block valve or designed to have regulating or cutting and regulating kinetic energy.

3. Throttle valve: the throttle valve controls the pressure and flow of the fluid by changing the cross-section of the flow channel. It belongs to the control valve, but due to its structural limitations, it has no control characteristics of the control valve, so it can not be used instead of the control valve. The structure of the stop type throttle valve is the same as that of the stop valve except for the valve opening parts and related parts. Most of the opening and closing parts of the throttle valve are conical streamline.

4. Check valve: it is a valve that can prevent the reverse flow of fluid. The valve disc opens the flow of fluid from the inlet side to the outlet under the action of fluid. When the pressure at the inlet side is lower than that at the outlet side, the valve disc automatically works under the action of fluid pressure difference, its own gravity and other factors (swing type, open drop type)

5. Gate valve: gate valve is one of the commonly used block valves. It is mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline. It is not suitable for regulating the medium flow. The gate valve is suitable for a wide range of pressure, temperature and caliber, especially for medium and large caliber pipes. The gate valve is used as the cutoff medium. When fully open, the whole circulation is straight. At this time, the pressure loss of medium operation is the smallest. Gate valves are generally suitable for applications that do not require frequent opening and closing. And the ram is kept fully open or fully closed. It is not suitable for regulating or throttling. For high-speed flowing media. The vibration of the gate can be caused when the gate is partially opened. And the vibration may damage the sealing surface of the gate and the valve seat. The throttling will cause the ram to be eroded by the medium. From the structural form. The main difference is the form of sealing element used. Depending on the form of the sealing element. Gate valves are often divided into several different types. Such as wedge gate valve, parallel gate valve, parallel double gate valve, wedge double gate valve, etc. The most common forms are wedge gate valve and parallel gate valve.

6. Ball valve: it is a valve that uses a ball with a circular through-hole as the opening and closing part, and the ball rotates with the valve stem to realize the opening and closing action.

7. Diaphragm valve: it is a special type of block valve. Its opening and closing part is a diaphragm made of soft material, which separates the inner cavity of the valve body from the inner cavity of the bonnet.

8. Safety valve: it is used as an overpressure protection device on pressure equipment such as boiler and pressure vessel. When the medium pressure in the protected equipment abnormally rises to the specified value, the valve will automatically open, and then discharge the full amount to prevent the pressure from continuing to rise. When it falls to another value, it will automatically close.
