The common faults of the outriggers on the crane trucks
Truck-mounted cranes, also known as truck-mounted cranes, can be divided into 2 tons, 3.2 tons, 5 tons, 6.3 tons, 8 tons, 10 tons, 12 tons, 16 tons, 20 tons, etc. according to the tonnage of the crane. Different tonnage cranes have different configurations. Generally, small tonnage cranes are equipped with fewer outriggers, while large tonnage cranes are equipped with front and rear outriggers. The rear outriggers play a key role in the crane. What precautions need to be taken when using the truck crane, and what are the common faults?
The truck-mounted crane with the rear outriggers must pay attention to the construction site. It is necessary to choose a smooth and solid ground as much as possible, and ensure that the outriggers can contact the ground to support the lifting.
It is also necessary to pay attention to the operation sequence. Each component of the crane has a certain order in operation. First, open the two-way hydraulic lock, extend the horizontal legs to ensure that the horizontal legs are in place, and then operate the vertical legs. This can avoid The outriggers will not hit the ground. After the operation is completed, the hydraulic lock must be closed to prevent the horizontal outriggers from sliding out.
The common faults of the outriggers following the crane are as follows:
1. When retracting the vertical leg, the horizontal leg is also recovered.
Cause: Problem with horizontal outrigger relief valve of multi-way valve
Solution: Remove stuck impurities and replace damaged parts in time
2. One of the outriggers extends slowly.
Cause: It may be that the positioning of the multi-way valve is loose and the speed of this leg cannot be controlled, or the horizontal cylinder may leak internally, resulting in insufficient pressure and slower speed.
Solution: fasten the multi-way valve positioning, interchange the vertical oil pipe and horizontal oil pipe, observe whether the horizontal outrigger will be slow, exclude normal parts, check the oil cylinder, confirm whether the oil cylinder is leaking inside, replace the seal or replace the oil cylinder.
3. Slowly retract the rear legs with low pressure
Cause: Internal components of the multi-way valve relief valve are damaged and cause internal leakage.
Solution: Check and confirm whether the relief valve or pump is faulty. Specific operations: Disconnect the multi-way valve relief valve from the hydraulic oil tank, place the outrigger selection handle in the middle position, pull the reversing handle, and observe the pressure gauge. When the pressure does not increase, observe the multi-way valve. Check if there is any oil flowing out of the opened oil port. If there is oil, it means that the relief valve is leaking or the pressure value is adjusted too low. If there is no oil, it means that the oil pump is damaged.
The crane leg is closely related to the safety of the operator. Everyone must pay attention to it when operating.
