Liquefied gas semi-trailer is a special semi-trailer used to transport propane, propylene, dimethyl ether, liquid ammonia, methylamine, acetaldehyde and other liquefied gases. If the body is damaged, mainly due to tank collision or leakage, how can you repair it? In this case, it is better to find the original manufacturer for repair. If the tank car data are kept completely, other similar pressure vessel manufacturers can be entrusted for maintenance, and the manufacturer‘s professionals will solve the problems one by one.
If the tank body leaks during transportation, it may be the manufacturer‘s production quality is not up to standard, or it may be the overloading during the later use of the user. Generally, the tank body will penetrate at the weld seam. During maintenance, nondestructive testing will be used to detect the welding quality. The leaking place will be re welded, and comprehensive nondestructive testing will be conducted to ensure the welding quality.
If the tank body is deformed, and the head or tank body is deformed due to impact in case of an accident, it is possible to replace the head or all parts of the vehicle, reassemble, weld, heat treat, paint, etc.
In order to use safely, it is very important for us to choose the manufacturer when purchasing LPG semi-trailer. Its design, material selection and manufacturing process determine the quality and service life of the tank. Liquefaction determines understanding the tolerance and safety of the tank. Therefore, it is very important to choose the manufacturer of pressure vessels with large material strength and perfect quality assurance system!
It is important not only to choose the manufacturer of LPG semi-trailer, but also to maintain it at ordinary times. Let‘s learn what we should pay attention to at ordinary times?
1. The daily inspection and maintenance of LPG semi-trailer must be strengthened, and the faults shall be eliminated in time, so as to keep the comprehensive performance of the vehicle in good condition.
2. The user of liquefied gas semi-trailer must formulate and strictly implement the repair and maintenance plan of tank car.
3. The outer surface of the tank shall be kept clean and the paint color shall be intact.
4. All safety devices and accessories (including safety valves, pressure gauges, liquid level gauges, thermometers, emergency cut-off devices, quick couplings, hydraulic pumps, inlets, pipelines, various valves, grounding wires, fire extinguishers, etc.) must be checked frequently to see if they are in good condition or free of leakage and damage, and abnormal ones should be handled properly in a timely manner.
5. The pressure gauge must be calibrated every six months and replaced if it is damaged or out of order; The qualified pressure gauge must be provided with lead seal and inspection certificate.
6. The oil resistant rubber pipe used for loading and unloading must be subject to air pressure test every six months. In case of leakage or other abnormal conditions, it shall be replaced.
