Engine oil pressure and filter alarm light of Dongfeng oil tanker:
When the key is powered on, the oil pressure indicator lights up. After the engine is started, the indicator light should go off.
When the engine oil pressure drops to 50 ~ 80kPa, the lamp will be on. If the lamp is on during the driving of the oil tank truck, it means that the oil is insufficient or the oil filter is blocked. At this time, the truck must be stopped for inspection and the fault must be eliminated before driving.
When the resistance of the filter element increases and the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the filter element reaches 147kpa, the lamp lights up to remind the driver to replace the filter element in time.
When it is cold, sometimes the engine oil viscosity will rise, and the warning lamp will be lit temporarily after the engine is started. This phenomenon is not abnormal.
If this light is on while the engine is running, park the vehicle at a safe place for inspection.
Check the oil quantity of the engine, and supplement it if it is insufficient.
Check all parts of the engine for oil leakage.
If the oil quantity is normal and there is no oil leakage, it means that the lubrication system has a fault and should be eliminated.
Starting preheating indicator of Dongfeng oil tank truck:
When starting the engine, turn on the start switch, press the start preheating button, the preheating indicator will be on, and release the button, the indicator will be off. The preheating button shall not be used for more than 40 seconds each time.
When the preheating controller fails, the preheating indicator will be on.
Exhaust brake indicator of Dongfeng oil tank truck:
When the exhaust brake starts to work, the indicator will be on.
When the exhaust brake switch is at the off position, the indicator light is off.
