Introduction of LPG tank semi-trailer assembly

Liquefied gas semi-trailer (hereinafter referred to as tanker) refers to the single-car tanker and semi-trailer tanker with the tank fixed on the chassis of the car. It is a special vehicle for transporting propane, propylene, butane, butene and other liquefied petroleum gas, which is inflammable and explosive.

The manufacturer of the LPG truck tells you the composition of the LPG semi-trailer:

1. Suspension: The suspension system is divided into single-axis main spring, double-axis, three-axis balanced leaf spring suspension and air suspension, which are used to support loads and absorb driving vibration. The leaf spring is fastened to the axle with U-shaped bolts, and both ends are clamped in the frame. The leaf spring mainly bears the vertical gravity on the frame. The horizontal force is transmitted by the bracket, the connecting rod and the bracket on the car. Therefore, the load of each rear axle is balanced within a certain range when the trailer passes through uneven roads.
2. Axles and wheels: Axles always become common parts, and can be installed according to the needs of the trailer. Each axle has a different load-bearing capacity, which is divided into 10 tons/piece, 12 tons/piece, 13 tons/piece, etc.

The axle is a square tube or round axle. The axle body is equipped with a platform for installing leaf springs and a bracket for installing brake air chambers. The axle head is used to install wheels, hubs and brakes.

3. Frame, traction pin and bolting device: The frame is a skeleton type low-alloy steel welded structure.

There are traction pins and traction pin fixing plates connected to the tractor under the front of the frame, and the traction pins are mainly used to transmit traction or braking force.

The front of the frame is equipped with a socket for the air pipe joint and electrical connection, and various lamps are installed on the front and the side of the frame.

The lower part of the longitudinal beam is provided with a leaf spring support, and the lower front part is provided with a leg support.

4. Outriggers and lifting mechanism: In order to make the semi-trailer safely park after being separated from the tractor, there are two outriggers and lifting mechanism at the front end of the frame. The outriggers are divided into single-acting and linked-acting. It is composed of screw drive machinery, bevel gear drive machinery, two-speed reduction box, transmission rod, operating handle and so on. When the handle is pushed in, it can be rotated at a high speed, and when the handle is pulled out, it can be rotated at a low speed. When the support plate touches the ground, only a low-speed gear can be used for lifting. Special reminder: When driving, please set the outrigger gear to a low gear and place the crank in the outrigger hook. When the outrigger is lowered to the lowest limit (marked), it is strictly forbidden to swing down forcibly, otherwise it will easily cause the lifting mechanism Gear damage and unstable support.

5. Brake and its operating device: The semi-trailer adopts a double-pipe pneumatic brake system.

The service brake system is mainly composed of air-filling pipelines, emergency relay valves, quick release valves, air reservoirs, brake air and wheel brakes. The air connector of the inflation tube is connected with the tractor air tank, and the air connector of the operating pipeline is connected with the brake valve of the tractor. When the semi-trailer brakes, each brake chamber acts at the same time. The semi-trailer parking brake system and the tractor The parking brake system operates simultaneously.

When the driver’s foot steps on the brake pedal, the brake chambers of the semi-trailer act simultaneously to achieve normal foot braking. Due to the emergency brake valve and the dual-cavity energy storage spring air brake chamber, the air-filling tube leaks. The semi-trailer can automatically brake when the pipeline is disconnected due to gas or burst, or the tractor suddenly disengages from the semi-trailer during driving.
The trailer rail is equipped with a manual control valve. When the manual control valve is closed, the tractor can be separated from the trailer. After separation, the semi-trailer can still brake on its own, thus ensuring that the vehicle can stop safely under any conditions.

6. Spare tire frame: The semi-trailer is equipped with a catenary spare tire lifter, which can fasten the spare tire under the frame.

Special note: After the spare tire lifter is in place, the spare tire must be tightened with two fastening nuts on the spare tire frame.

7. Guardrail and rear bumper: Semi-trailer is equipped with side guard and rear bumper to ensure the safety of the vehicle. There are mudguards above the wheels.

8. Electrical system: The semi-trailer is equipped with an international electrical system that is compatible with the tractor. There are electrical connection sockets on the front beam of the frame, and brake lights, turn signals, and stop lights are provided at the rear of the frame. Reversing lights, rear fog lights, license plate lights and triangular reflectors, front position lights and width indicator lights are provided on the front and on both sides, and the voltage of various lamps is DC 24V or 1212V.
